Looking for healthier food and drink options, I found my favorite smoothie recipe. The best part about this deliciously healthy drink is the ease in which it is prepared. I used to skip breakfast all together for the only reason that I just didn’t seem to have enough time in the mornings before work. Today I will be featuring the best smoothie you will ever taste and it can be prepared in 5 minutes. I literally drink this smoothie every morning, thanks in part to my husband Steve. I have to give credit where credit is due since he is the master behind this flavorful treat.
What you’ll need…
1/2 Container of Vanilla Premier Protein Drink
1/2 of One Frozen Banana. ( I purchase fresh bananas and cut them in half to freeze)
4 Frozen Strawberries
6 to 8 Frozen Blueberries
1/2 cup of Almond Milk
1 tbs of Organic LIVfit Superfood Blend
Start by placing frozen fruit into a single serve blending container
Add 1/2 of an 11oz container of Vanilla Premier Protein Drink and 1/2 cup of Almond Milk.
Add one small scoop of Organic LIVfit Superfood Blend.
Blend all ingredients together. I recommend the Ninja Professional 1100 Watt Blender.
The overall consistency of this smoothie will be thick and creamy much like a milkshake. It’s absolutely wonderful in the morning or even as an afternoon treat. I have used this recipe as a substitute of lunch, since it is very filling. I’ve tried other smoothies in the past, but what I like most about this recipe is that it’s not overly sweet and yet very satisfying. You can make this recipe without the Superfood ingredient, however I use it for the nutritional value. I would love to hear your thoughts and even suggestions on this post.
