Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, TN happen to be one of our favorite weekend destinations. With so many dining options it can sometimes be hard to choose where to eat. I can make the trip a little easier by recommending my favorite establishment for some good old southern comfort food. The Old Mill Restaurant located in Pigeon Forge, TN is a must visit dining experience.
The Old Mill Restaurant offers Southern food at its finest with amazing prices. Lunch specials are $10.99 and include fantastic dishes with all the fixing included. Be prepared to be served more food than any one person could eat, so bring a big appetite.
Arrive early because this establishment gets very busy. Lunch service began at 11am, so we arrived at 10:30am to ensure our names were on the list. We were seated at 11:15. From the information I received on their website it’s not uncommon to wait up to 90 minutes. If you do find yourself having to wait, don’t worry there are plenty of shops to visit. The location of The Old Mill Restaurant is great and there are some spectacular specialty shops all around. You can easily spend hours looking at all the beautiful stores. Bring some extra money, because you’ll find items here that you can’t find anywhere else.
The Old Mill Restaurant offers a wide array of southern comfort food options. Simple, classic meals that take you back to the feeling of being at your childhood home. Plated masterpieces soothes the soul and a big appetite. Save room if you can for dessert since The Old Mills Pecan Pie is to die for..
So if it’s comfort food you crave and you’re in Pigeon Forge, TN don’t let The Old Mill Restaurant pass you by.
What I found on my trip back to The Old Mill Restaurant? That I am not very good with New Years resolutions & can’t pass up Turkey with all the fixins. Happy Travels… xoxo Kathy Brown.
