For those seeking a beachfront escape in Fort Lauderdale, B Ocean Resort stands as a great choice. While not the newest resort in the city, B Ocean Resort offers a vintage charm that harkens back to the glamour of Hollywood’s golden age. Today’s review is a great read for anyone considering where to stay on a Fort Lauderdale Beach vacation.

B Ocean Resort is only 30 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport. Situated directly on the shores of Fort Lauderdale Beach, B Ocean Resort offers an unbeatable location for beach enthusiasts.  Guests can check in,  step out of their rooms, and onto the beaches to the warm sun and clear waters.

The resort provides a variety of room types, including oceanfront king suites. Our choice, room 3424, boasted breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Fort Lauderdale’s coastline. Floor-to-ceiling windows allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning scenery.

We found accommodations clean and the ocean view was incredible. The furnishings in the room were slightly dated and could use a refresh, but it was nothing unexpected at this price point.

Service was great and our room was maintained each day which considering we visited over spring break was a miracle.

B Ocean Resort caters to budget-friendly guests seeking relaxation and rejuvenation. Two outdoor pools provide ample space for swimming and lounging. 

The beachfront infinity pool, with its adjacent Salty Siren bar, is a popular spot for families and those seeking lively ambiance.

For a more tranquil experience, the second-floor rooftop pool offers a quieter retreat to read a book. Guests can also enjoy complimentary bike rentals to explore the surrounding area.

B Ocean Resort tantalizes taste buds with four on-site restaurants and three bars. We particularly enjoyed our meals at The Wrecked Bar, where the food and drinks were exceptional. 

The restaurant’s Mermaid Burlesque Show is a must-see, offering a captivating blend of entertainment and culinary delights.  The Naked Crab is another dining option that is located directly off the street and seems to bring in tourists from other nearby hotels.

B  Hotel Ocean Resort has a prime location in the center of Fort Lauderdale.  It was easy to navigate from the resort to all the other attractions we wanted to see. 

B Ocean is located near the Fort Lauderdale water taxi stop also making exploring easy.  The private beach at the B Oceanfront Resort was nice and having all the beach essentials made our day super easy. 

Our king room offered an amazing view of the ocean and was clean, yet could use a refresh on furnishings.  

All in All we loved our stay and would recommend booking with B Ocean for couples and families on a budget who want to be oceanfront. Happy Travels!
