Each wooden flight of stairs we ascended brought exciting scenes and the occasional WTF. Complete randomness of decor from antique furniture to televisions filled with who knows what. Staying at this boutique Chattanooga hotel is unlike any other in the Scenic City.

The Dwell is a boutique hotel featuring 16 stylish rooms. Each guest room is designed with a theme in mind and each item is specially selected by the designer to tell a story.

Steve and I were assigned room #38 at the downtown Dwell Hotel, known as the puzzle room. Hardwood floors show the ageless grace of the structure and a large soaking tub created a romantic atmosphere. I became immediately drawn to the tremendous views from the windows, down to the historic architecture of the Chattanooga, TN streets below.

Comfortable, crisp white bedding and a plush mattress provided an incredible night’s sleep. Because after all is said and done, that is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay.

Well, might I mention the chocolate-dipped Oreo cookie? That was pretty fantastic too. (a review)

I won’t lie, I had been dying to stay at The Dwell Hotel for what seemed like forever. When the opportunity presented itself, I knew it was a must-do experience.
