Location and Proximity to Major Cities

Most visitors to Garden of the Gods will arrive as part of a larger Colorado road trip.  However, those booking flights will fly into Colorado Springs Airport.  Steve and I drove from Denver, Colorado which is a little over an hour.  The Pikes Peak region and Garden of Gods is a very scenic drive.  Pikes Peak can be seen in the distance and we incorporated that attraction on the same road trip. The distance between Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak is 70 miles.  Another fantastic stop that tourists can incorporate on the same trip is the old Colorado city of Manitou Springs.  Manitou Springs is a charming downtown area.
