Hotel Simone Review St. Simons, Georgia
Saint Simons Island has been our go-to beach vacation for years. We love visiting this United States beach town for the wide beaches, Places of historical interest, and the friendliness of the people.
Steve and I have stayed at many resorts and hotels while vacationing in St, Simons. One particular boutique hotel stands out from the rest.
Wondering which of the Simons Island Hotels stands out as outstanding? What is the top hotel in Saint Simon?
Answer – The best boutique accommodation belongs to Hotel Simone.
Note – The Simone Hotel was initially opened as an adults-only hotel, but has since converted to family friendly.
Hotel Simone Location and Golden Isles Overview:
Saint Simon Island is a hidden gem of coastal Georgia, USA. St. Simon is one of the barrier islands that is included in the Golden Isles of Coastal Georgia.
Often overlooked, St. Simons Island is often missed by tourists visiting larger vacation towns such as Tybee Island, Jacksonville Beach, Hilton Head, or even Jekyll Island.
St. Simons is one of the closest beaches to my town or Chattanooga, TN, yet many friends have never heard of this charming beach community. The island’s charm not being as well known might add to its charm, since it’s not over-commercialized like other American beach destinations.
I recommend Hotel Simone and St. Simon travel for couples, families, history seekers, and foodies. Simone Hotel offers boutique all-suite accommodations and is also pet-friendly.
The address is 1200 Ocean Blvd, St Simons Island, GA 31522,
(912) 357- 5500.
Hotel Simone Highlights Making it the Best Place to Stay
So many things make this luxury boutique hotel tops on our travel list. Let’s start with location. Luxury accommodations for Simone are one block from the beach! Another stand-out feature is the large spacious rooms. But that’s only a couple of great reasons to book your Golden Isles vacation here.
The Hotel Simone Location is fantastic. The beach is one block away. Several restaurants are on the same street. Simone not only sits one block behind the King and Prince Resort but also shares amenities, like resort pools.
All rooms are suites to give tourists ample space for relaxation and privacy.
For guests watching their waistlines on vacation, like my hubby, there is a fitness center.
Free Parking is always a plus. Let’s face it we all hate hidden fees on vacation.
The staff is very friendly, check-in was easy and the lobby is so nice you might want to linger for a while.
The rooftop pool is a place to be for sun and relaxation.
When it comes to Golden Isles, America accommodations, our opinion is Hotel Simones are the most exquisite.
Hotel Simone offers complementary bicycles.
Review Story: You know the saying you never forget how to ride a bike. They Lie! Turns out the mind may never forget, but the body does. At least that’s what I determined as I paddled my free afternoon bicycle into a palm tree.
Culinary Delights and Local Recommendations
Savor a complimentary breakfast buffet and discover outstanding coastal cuisines at nearby establishments like Fiddlers, Barrier Island Brewing, ECHO (King & Prince), and Crabdaddy’s Seafood.
Final Wrap-up / Any Complaints / Booking Details
Thank you to the Hotel Simone in the breathtaking Golden Isles for hosting our stay. As always, all reviews on Finding Kathy Brown are my opinion and honest. I don’t ever mind including opportunities for improvement in the resorts I stay.
With that being said, Steve and I loved our stay at Hotel Simone, Saint Simon Island, Georgia. We have stayed at many different places throughout the years, from the high-end accommodations of The King and Prince to the budget-friendly Hampton Inn. By far the best place we have stayed to date is the Simone Hotel!
Room accommodations are large, spacious, and clean. The location is perfect one block to the beach, surrounded by great places to eat, and within walking distance to pier village attractions.
No let-downs here. However, rooms do not have great views and no balconies, so if that is something you are looking for you may want to check out King and Prince instead.
In comparison though, rooms are much bigger and updated than the King and Prince, so there is a trade-off to views.
