Ah Jacksonville Beach, is one of my favorite Florida Travel destinations.  Often friends will ask what is that draws me to the First Coast.  That question is easy, I love that the beaches are not touristy, but rather uncrowded and have a local feel. 

I was lucky enough to have lived and spent a great deal of time in the Jacksonville area.  Today’s list will help you enjoy your time in Jax and save a little money too.  Here is where you can find some amazing happy hour specials, tapas, and top places. 

The Penthouse Bar Makes its way to the happy hour list for the best martinis. Also important to note it is one of the top Jacksonville bars on the beach with a view. The Casa Marina hotel is not much to look at from the outside, but trust me visitors will love the ambiance of the rooftop bar. If I had one complaint – service at the Penthouse can be slow at times. So bring your love for a good poured martini, a great happy hour, and a little patience for this top pick.

Tides Tiki Bar on Jacksonville Beach, FL is located behind the Hampton Inn. This popular beach bar is known for its friendly staff, tropical vibes, and beachside location. Though Tides is located behind the Hampton Inn, everyone is welcome. Sunday Funday is the best time to visit this happy hour bar from 3 – 6. Live entertainment is often offered and the good vibes last all day long.

Graffiti Burger Bar is my top pick for Wednesday all-day Wine and Whiskey deals. This is also a top pick for Sunday’s bottomless mimosa specials. There’s a lot to love about this burger joint along with an amazing staff that pours a great drink. For sports fans, this is a great place to catch a game on one of the many TVs. I also highly recommend Graffiti Bar for those traveling with their four-legged friends. The outdoor seating is very dog-friendly. The hometown bar with incredible food and signature cocktails make this a great dining destination in Jacksonville Beach. The Brix is located close to the beach and in the heart of everything. The Brix Taphouse has one of the most extensive happy hour and drink specials in Jax Beach. Listed below are just some of the top specials on any given day. TacoLu has non-descript happy hours Tuesday through Friday 2 pm to 7 pm. This is also a great place for Sunday Brunch weekends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. TacoLu is always a favorite for Mexican food and a lively crowd. It’s not uncommon to have a wait to get in, but the wait is worth it.  Happy hours are subject to change and guests should check upon arrival for the best deals. 

Located at the beach marina in Jacksonville, Mavi Grille offers an exceptional happy hour experience near Jacksonville Beach. With great food, spirits, and plenty of outdoor seating, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy live entertainment.  I always love that atmosphere at Mavi and give a great review.  The dining area provides a stunning view of the beach marina, making Mavi Grille a top choice for a memorable dining experience. Mavi is well-known by the locals but often missed by tourists. Live music Fridays 6-10 pm, Saturdays 6-10 pm, and Sundays 3-7 pm.
