I was thrilled when I received an invitation to The King and Prince Oceanfront Resort for a media event. At first, I felt a little overwhelmed, as this was my very first media event and my first time traveling alone without my husband, Steve. But let me tell you, my experience at this resort was amazing and surpassed all my expectations. After my initial visit, I returned to The King and Prince Oceanfront Resort multiple times, and of course, my hubby Steve joined me on these trips as well.

Imagine sitting on a big Lania, comfy lounge chairs, looking at the ocean. You can watch the waves for hours and not want to leave. Did you know? The beach at St. Simons Island is the farthest west on the whole east coast. When the tide is low, you can walk out into the ocean and find cool things. It’s like being a treasure hunter!
Accommodations At The King And Prince Oceanfront Resort: Review
Checked into my assigned room, and instantly I was greeted with a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean. The King and Prince Resort truly offers the best ocean views that will leave you in awe. Plus, their dedication to even the smallest details sets them apart from other resorts, making your stay even more memorable. Returning to my room in the afternoon was always a joy. The room was impeccably cleaned, and I was greeted with a handwritten note expressing their gratitude for my stay or simply wishing me a fantastic day. It’s these personal touches that make The King and Prince Oceanfront Resort stand out. What impressed me, even more, was the sliding glass doors leading to the balcony. They were equipped with a screen door, ensuring I could leave the balcony open to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze without worrying about unwanted insects intruding.
Resort Oceanfront Pools:
The resort boasts three distinct pools on its grounds. The best part? They’re close enough for convenience yet separated enough to provide a sense of privacy. If you’re traveling with little ones, there’s a shallow pool where the princes and princesses can have a safe and enjoyable time. For those without small children, a larger resort-style pool awaits, promising a sun-soaked afternoon of pure bliss. Could anything have been better? After all, this is a travel review. I’ve been visiting this luxury property for several years now. My first post was in 2018 and this is my 2023 update. I do feel that resort bedding and rooms could use an update. It’s also important to note that not all rooms have an ocean view, or are as large.

The Golden Island of Saint Simon is on the Atlantic Coast, 65 miles North of Jacksonville, Florida. The 280-mile drive from Atlanta makes this a perfect weekend road trip. Finally, Savannah is 75 miles North making St.Simons a wonderful trip to combine.
