Kathy Brown
Travel & Lifestyle Blogger Over 50
Yes, I’m over 50. Yes, I love early bird specials. But that doesn’t mean I’m settling for a life of bingo nights and sensible shoes.** I’m Kathy Brown, a Chattanooga-based travel and lifestyle blogger who’s traded bingo halls for bucket lists and exchanged sensible shoes for sensible adventures. (Okay, maybe I still pack sensible shoes, but only for the plane ride. #Priorities)
Think of me as your sassy travel fairy godmother, sprinkling wanderlust and laughter on your newsfeed.
I’ll show you how to explore the world (and your backyard) without breaking the bank or your back. Because let’s face it, aging is inevitable, but looking and feeling fabulous on your next adventure? Totally optional (but highly encouraged).
Expect witty travel tales, hilarious mishaps (I’m a walking disaster zone), and insider tips for the mature (but still totally cool) traveler.
We’re talking hidden gems, delicious eats that won’t blow your dentures out, and age-appropriate activities that don’t involve bingo or complaining about the weather. (Although, let’s be honest, sometimes the weather deserves a good rant.)
So, ditch the rocking chair and grab your passport, sugar.
It’s time to prove that life after 50 is the real happy hour. Join me on this wild ride, and let’s show the world that even with a few extra candles on our cake, we can still laugh, explore, and maybe even do a tequila shot without faceplanting. (Disclaimer: I’m not responsible for any tequila-induced faceplanting. But I’ll laugh about it with you.)
And remember darling: Age ain’t nothin’ but a number. It’s the laugh lines and the wild stories that truly define you. Now go out there and make some memories that’ll give your grandkids something to talk about!
P.S. Don’t forget to check out my blog for Chattanooga-specific tips and tricks. Because even hometown adventures deserve a little Kathy Brown magic.
