Things to do in Neptune Beach, Florida – The forgotten cousin of Jacksonville, Neptune Beach Florida doesn’t always get the credit it deserves. Most Northeastern Florida travelers have never heard of this hidden gem. Neptune Beach Fla has only one mile of shoreline, so it’s easy to see why most tourists miss this beautiful uncrowded shoreline.

Here’s what you should know about Neptune Beach, Florida, United States:

Directions to The Beaches of Neptune

Between Atlantic Beach Jacksonville and Jax Beaches, Duval County,  is where you will find Neptune Beach. Neptune Beach is only a 15-minute drive from downtown Jacksonville.  Visitors of Jacksonville Beach can walk a couple of miles down the beaches to reach this destination. Arriving at Neptune Beach is also easy by simply walking down the first street.

Getting to The Beaches of Neptune from the Jacksonville Beaches:

Neptune beaches are quiet and very family-friendly. Neptune is typically not crowded unless it’s a holiday weekend. The beaches of Neptune are golden brown and well-packed sand perfect for long walks. Weather along this stretch of Florida’s coastline can be a bit cold from late December to early March since Neptune Beach is in the Northeast portion of Florida.

Getting around the Florida Beaches in this Northeast Florida Community:

Primarily a residential area, and for that reason, parking can be challenging. Once you have discovered your parking for the day, walking this small beach community is most desirable. If you require transportation, I recommend calling Beach Buggies. Beach Buggy is a free transportation service with drivers accepting tips.  The Local area is very easy to get around.
