Las Vegas is famous for its scorching deserts and hot nightlife.  It can get very hot in this top Nevada destination.

Tourists looking for a cool indoor attraction will love today’s top Vegas attraction – The Minus5 Ice Bar!

Minus 5 Ice Bar is a Vegas experience unlike any other.  But before you throw down the cost of admission, let’s see the overall experience.

Location Featured in this post – Linq Promenade 3545 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89109

The Linq Promenade is located between The Flamingo Hotel and The Linq Hotel.  To the far end of the Promenade sits the popular High Roller Ferris Wheel.

Vegas Ice Bar is found in this area about halfway down the street.  This area is crowded in the evenings and weekends.  Ice Bar is only one of the many attractions located in this area of the Strip.

Details, Pricing, Packages and Review

How to pick the right Ice Bar Vegas Package

Listed below are the experience prices for adults helping you maximize your Minus5 ICEBAR experience.

My sister and I chose the VIP experience.

Let’s break it down, ice warriors. On a tight budget but big on thrills?

The Cool Experience ($24) is your gateway to the frozen kingdom. Entry, parka, gloves – the essentials for braving the icy wonderland. Think of it as your passport to frosty selfies and a chat with the resident Ice Queen (or in our case the Ice King bartender)

Now, if you crave cocktails as cold as your ex’s heart, level up to the Coolest Experience ($49). Two ice-sculpted masterpieces filled with frosty drinks are yours to conquer.

Ready to go full-on Vegas VIP? The V-ICE-P Experience ($75) is your icy chariot to luxury. Faux fur coat? Check. Souvenir to remind you you weren’t hallucinating frozen unicorns? Check. Two cocktails colder than your last breakup? Double check. Plus, a digital photo to prove you actually survived -5°C and didn’t just dream it all up in a heat stroke haze.

Sisters Chris and Kathy bundle up in cozy faux fur parkas and winter hats, their gloved hands clutching frosty espresso drinks served in ice glasses. They grin in delight amidst the icy wonderland of the Minus5 ICEBAR Las Vegas, a frozen oasis in the midst of the desert heat.

Ice Bar Vegas LINQ Promenade Experience

We wandered through icy corridors adorned with cool ice sculptures. Marveled at intricate throne chairs and awe-inspiring scenes that are frozen in time.

Yes, you can sit on the ice thrones and sit at the ice-craved tables, thanks to faux animal skin throw rugs. (hoping they are faux)

The overall Ice Bar is small but provides enough room to explore.

The atmosphere was festive and lively, especially considering our visit was on a Wednesday late afternoon.

Sip & Sizzle in Sub-Zero Style:

We enjoyed specially crafted cocktails served in ice glasses.  YES, glasses are made of ice!

The bartender at Minus 5 poured the perfect frosty concoction to warm our spirits (literally!).

Reminder: always make sure to tip your Minus5 ICEBAR bartender.

We are enjoying the Icy Mudslides in this post.  Other popular adult beverages incude chilly margaritas, Minus 5 old fashion, pineapple punch and more.

I imagine that the Minus 5 Ice Bar Vegas gets very busy in the heat of the summer. For that reason, I recommend buying your tickets in advance.

Our tickets had a window of time that we could visit between.  Having an open window time entry, is perfect since you never know when you may be hung up at a winning slot machice.

Minus 5 Ice Bar - Worth the cost of admission.

Vegas offers all sorts of thrills, but the Minus 5 Ice Bar experience is truly unforgettable. We found a chance to escape the ordinary and embrace the unexpected even if our fingers are a little numb.

Tip: You will at some point decide to remove your gloves to take a picture. The drink glasses made of ice are not only very very cold, but extremely slippery.  If you break your glass, you have to pay a nominal fee for a new one.

Contrary to its grandeur, The Sphere is not easily seen from the bustling Las Vegas Strip. You might find yourself surprised as you navigate through the city's glittering lights, wondering where this hidden marvel could be.

Great restaurants and bars in the same area as the Minus 5 Ice Bar.

Don’t skip the high roller ferris wheel. Great views of the Vegas Strip and Msg Sphere.
